Genova – capital of ocean sailing. In June the finale of The Ocean Race Europe will take place here. So not only the arrival of the world tour, but also the European tour. The début edition of The Ocean Race Europe will finish in Genova, in June.
The historical Ligurian port has been confirmed as the site of Genova The Grand Finale – the final leg of The Ocean Race, the tour of the world in sailing by teams, 2022-23. Now the Superba has also been announced as the finale for The Ocean Race Europe.

GENOVA WILL HOST OCEAN SAILING IN 2021

THE OCEAN RACE EUROPE, A RACE FOR VO65 AND IMOCA
The Ocean Race Europe is reserved for VO65 and IMOCA class vessels. The race will begin at the end of May from a port in Brittany, on the Atlantic coast of France, and will be made up of a number of legs, concluding then in Genova in the third week of June. The other cities participating as stops for the race will be announced one after the other. The VO65 monotype fleet will participate in a prologue to The Ocean Race Europe, departing from the Baltic Sea at the beginning of May.
