It is only a short time until the Superyacht Show Türkiye, one of the most anticipated events this spring for the boating industry: the first edition, running from 8 to 12 May, will transform Göcek, one of the most iconic destination of the Turkish coast, into a floating temple of excellence. It will be much more than a parade of dreamy yachts. It will be, above all, an important event for an expanding international industry. This year, special attention will be paid to women in boating, showcasing their various roles.

Created to promote the potential of Turkey in the pleasure boating industry, Superyacht Show Türkiye, for which Daily Nautica is a media partner and media sponsor, is already standing out amongst other international events in the sector. Along the piers of Göcek will be some of the most prestigious yachts and superyachts, and space will also be dedicated to the latest technology solutions. There will also be opportunities for networking for owners, shipyards, brokers and enthusiasts, as well as opportunities for start-ups and entrepreneurs. Special attention will be paid to women in boating. The international conference held in November at the Rixos Premium Göcek, organised by Superyacht Show Türkiye, marked a turning point. The event centred around captains and other experienced professionals who are rewriting the rules in an industry that not too long ago was exclusively male.

An important initiative that does more than just theorise: the message of inclusion will be an integral part of Superyacht Show Türkiye. Talks centred around skills, challenges faced and results obtained. A way to inspire, but also change the internal dynamics of the boating industry. Supporting the event is also Daily Nautica, who has been promoting women in the industry for years.

Göcek is not just a tourist port. It is a pearl nestled between the most beautiful bays in Turkey, overlooking a marvellous turquoise sea.
