The countdown begins. In just one month, the Palma International Boat Show 2025 will open its doors from 30th April to 3rd May at the Moll Vell in Palma, once again marking the start of the nautical season in the Mediterranean. Organised by ADR Balears (the Regional Development Agency of the Balearic Islands), an organisation that reports to the Regional Ministry of Business, Employment and Energy, and BYBA (Balearic Yacht Brokers Association), the event has become a must in the sector.

This year, sustainability is one of the main themes of the event, with initiatives that reinforce the show’s commitment to the protection of the marine environment. In its bid to consolidate itself as a sustainable event, the organisation has implemented various actions focused on reducing environmental impact, such as measuring the carbon footprint, optimising resource consumption and efficient waste management. These measures are aimed not only at minimising the event’s ecological footprint, but also at raising awareness among exhibitors and visitors of the importance of sustainability in the nautical sector.

The Palma International Boat Show will have a complete range of exhibits, including all kinds of new boats, nautical products and equipment, as well as services, marinas and yacht clubs. Once again, the Palma Superyacht Village will be present, an exclusive section for boats over 24 metres in length, both sailing and motorboats. In addition, this area has a section specialising in Refit&Repair, where the leading companies in the nautical industry participate to offer boat repair and maintenance services.

The extension of the exhibition area

One of the new features is the extension of the exhibition centre with a new 5,000 square metre exhibition area located in the Club de Mar, which will be connected by sea to the Moll Vell (Old Dock) site. This extension will make it possible to respond to the growing demand in the industry. In addition, an onshore space will be created for companies offering services and equipment for this type of yacht, such as repair and maintenance, naval engineering, construction and interior design. The two exhibition areas will be connected by water shuttles, which will facilitate the movement of visitors in a journey of just five minutes, thus offering a more complete and dynamic experience.

The previous edition of the show brought together 295 participating companies and exhibited around 600 boats, more than 260 at sea, consolidating its position as a benchmark event in the sector. The Palma International Boat Show has become the epicentre of the nautical industry, where every year new models of boats and products are presented on a global scale. By 2025, the organisation hopes to exceed these figures, offering a unique experience to nautical professionals and enthusiasts in an environment that is committed to innovation and sustainability.

It is worth noting that the Palma International Boat Show generates an economic impact of more than 20 million euros, according to a study carried out by the Directorate General of Economy and Statistics with data collected by ADR Balears. The event plays a key role in the de-seasonalisation of tourism, as it attracts national and international visitors in a month of the low season, thus boosting the hotel sector, restaurants, transport and local commerce. Tickets are now available online. In addition, professional passes are available that allow access every day of the event. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the official website of the event.
