I PUNTI CHIAVE

After the success of the 65th edition, the Genoa Boat Show has already announced the dates for next year. The leading international pleasure boating event will take place from 1 to 6 October 2026. The Boat Show’s change of date, after a number of years in September, is proof of the organisers’ desire to interpret the changing needs of the market, becoming a driving force for economic development for the entire global boating industry.

The Boat Show – notes Piero Formenti, president of Confindustria Nautica – continues to grow and innovate, proving itself a strategic asset for the entire pleasure boating system, as can be seen in the results of this latest iteration. The dates for the 2026 Boat Show represent the strong desire expressed by the General Committee, which met today, to reinforce the identity of this industry Show, in line with the development strategy and international position of this event.”

THE 5 FORMAT SHOW

The 66th edition will therefore keep the event formula that represents the values of the boating industry and its satellite activities, described through its multi-specialist 5 formats: Yacht&Superyacht, Boating Discovery, Sailing World, TechTrade, and Living the Sea. There are also plans for more innovative formats like the TechTrade Days and Design Innovation Awards, along with promoting start-up companies.

Visitors will be able to trial vessels in the water (4050 trials in 2025), to take part in technical forums and meetings with national and community bodies, working under the European Commission, looking at the topics of innovation, sustainability and training.
