The Monaco Yacht Show, in partnership with the Water Revolution Foundation, is launching Blue Wake for the 2025 iteration, a new programme to promote sustainability in the pleasure boating sector.

Blue Wake: a platform for the future

This new initiative, integrated in the show, aims to provide more visibility to true ecological solutions at the show. Stemming from the Sustainability Hub, which was established in 2022, this aims to highlight how caring for the environment is now essential even for the boating industry, and how much value advanced progress has, especially when presented during such important events.

Sustainability has become an essential factor for innovation in pleasure boating – explains Gaelle Tallarida, CEO of the Monaco Yacht Show – and our role is to provide a platform where current advancements can get the recognition they deserve. With Blue Wake we are reinforcing this idea, guaranteeing that sustainability is an integral part of the event experience and includes all interested parties in significant discussions about the future of our industry.

Care for the environment and industry innovation

The programme promotes companies whose products respect rigorous criteria approved by the Water Revolution Foundation, providing increased visibility during the show allowing them to better share thei innovations to visitors, owners, builders, investors and other industry players.

This initiative – notes Robert van Tol, executive manager for the Water Revolution Foundation – is more than just visibility: it is about credibility. Through an intense control process, we are ensuring that the solutions presented under the aegis of Blue Wake truly contribute to making the boating industry more sustainable. It is an opportunity for companies to progress towards a more responsible future.
