Only a few more days until the opening of the Monaco Yacht Show 2025. From 24 to 27 September, in the splendid setting of Port Hercule, we will see a showcase of innovation, excellence and sustainability in luxury superyachts. The Daily Nautica team interviewed Gaelle Tallarida, managing director of the Monaco Yacht Show, to find out more about this year’s edition.
“We will have around 50 – says Gaelle Tallarida – world premieres. A full immersion 3-D experience will allow visitors to virtually explore the yacht designs of the future.” And there will also be 120 superyachts to visit and admire as well as sailing yachts, themed exhibitions, an adventure area with water toys, luxury cars and lifestyle products. The Monaco show is once again in position to reveal the trends in this year’s luxury yacht segment.
360-Degree immersion in yachting
“The Monaco Yacht Show – explains the event director to DN – allows for a full immersion in yachting: from design to construction, finances, lagalities, through to management. Visitors can meet with the designers, builders and suppliers, develop interior design concepts, choose tenders, games and accessories, and find out more about sustainable solutions.”
Innovation and environmental sustainability will be among the central topics of the show. In particular, with the Blue Wake program, the Monaco Yacht Show is shining a spotlight on the most effectiove environmentally responsible solutions in the boating industry. Those companies considered to be having the most impact in sustainable solutions that are also technically solid and effective, will receive awards during the Blue Wake Awards evening held on the opening night.
Throughout the entire event, there will also be an exhibition displaying the works of photographer Guillaume Plisson, who, with his images, captures the essence of life at sea and pays tribute to the people who work there because, as Gaelle Tallarida reminds us, “boating is also dreams and feelings.” “The objective – she explains – is to provide visitors with a moment of reflection during this busy event, showcasing the emotional side of yachting: elegance, lifestyle, family and friendship.”
