Pure lines, a constant dialogue with the water and harmonious spaces: the La Spezia-based shipyard reveals the Light63M, a concept for a 63-metre stemming from the partnership between Nauta Design and Arrabito Naval Architects
Antonini Navi is continuing to consolidate its position on the international yacht building panorama, presenting Light63M, the new 63-metre concept developed in partnership with Nauta Design. A project stemming from the marriage of the Milan-based studio’s elegant style and the solid construction of the La Spezia-based shipyard, creating a yacht that is balanced, functional and has a continual dialogue with the water.
A design that unites aesthetic vision with solid engineering.
Choosing to work with Nauta Design, founded in 1986 by Massimo Gino and Mario Pedol, was based on the prestige they have acquired in boating design. With over 625 metres built and over 27,000 GT, Nauta brings to the Light63M experience gained working on iconic projects like Azzam, Dragonfly, and Zen.
Light63M is the result on constant dialogue between the two companies, who invested resources and know-how to transform a concept into a solid design that is elegant and coherent with the DNA of both brands. The new superyacht reflects shared values like efficiency, harmony and quality design. Technical contribution was provided by Arrabito Naval Architects, with Giovanni Arrabito who personally worked on developing the design, ensuring it was sound of engineering.
Open spaces and optimised flow
The Light63M concept was developed with careful attention paid to functionality. The flowing relationship between internal and external areas is one of the pivotal points of the design, through solutions that favour constant connection and natural light. The exterior, with a fluid design and balanced proportions, gives an immediate sense of openness and lightness. The alternating opaque and glass surfaces create an elegant profile, certain to remain timeless.
The design on board provides efficient and discreet flow between passengers and crew: which can directly access guest cabins on the lower deck, with service spaces distributed across all decks to reduce going through common areas. The beach club with spa, open on three sides, established direct contact with the water, guaranteeing privacy and functionality at the same time.
Luxury, comfort and Mediterranean design
The owner’s apartment and VIP cabin both have private terraces, while the panoramic gym, illuminated on three sides and fitted with skylights, has an open view to the horizon. The sun deck is set to be a privileged observatory, created to be an intimate and relaxing refuge.
The interior, inspired by a contemporary Mediterranean aesthetic, brings together natural materials, warm tones and light surfaces, creating a welcoming, elegant and personalised atmosphere. The integration between bespoke elements and mobile furniture allows for full design freedom, while maintaining a coherent style and comfort.
A new page for Antonini Navi
With its 63.5 metre length, 10.9 metre beam and a volume of around 1,180 GT, the Light63M is a mature and carefully validated design, providing balance, efficiency and a true connection with the water.
The concept comes at a busy time for Antonini Navi, which is building a number of vessels, scheduled to launch over the next few months. Among these is the Seamore 34, the first model of a semi0custom series in steel and aluminium, the EVO 31, a full-custom motor yacht commissioned by an expert owner, and the SUY 135, the first unit of the new Sports Utility yachts line, currently being built on spec.
