Benetti’s Livorno shipyard saw the launch of the M/Y Iryna 66m custom, the first model of the B.Now 67 series. The solemn ceremony took place in the presence of the owner and his family.

We are excited – notes Daniela Petrozzi, Sales Director for Benetti – to announce the launch of the prestigious B.Now 67 collection. This event is an extraordinary achievement for our shipyard and for our esteemed client, to whom we are deeply grateful for the trust he has given us by choosing to partner with us once again. Special thanks for to our exceptional design team and to all those who, with passion and dedication, have made this incredible vessel possible.”

The exterior was designed by well-known British studio, RWD, with whom Benetti has been successfully partnering for the entire B.Now line. “RWD – notes Mark Gardmer, the studio’s Head of Exterior Design – is extremely proud to assist in the launch of the most recent, and largest, yacht in the B.Now series, which represents the pinnacle of years of work alongside Benetti in the making of these splendid yachts. The harmonious elegance, balanced proportions, dynamism, and Italian charm translate into a design that is very clearly Benetti’s.”

The colour of the hull and superstructure has been personalised using different tones of grey to emphasise the exterior lines, while the large windows (mostly curved) cover up to 70% of the overall vertical surface.

Covering 6 decks, from the topmost observation deck to the under lower deck, this mega yacht has ample space both outside, with around 500 square metres of usable surface area, and inside, with a main saloon of 65m2, a full beam owner’s apartment on the upper deck (made possible by moving the wheelhouse and captain’s cabin), 2 VIP cabins of the main deck and 4 cabins on the lower deck, accommodating up to 15 passengers on board. There are also a number of spaces dedicated to wellness, with a sauna in the beach club and a gym on the main deck, built by client request.

The M/Y Iryna also has the innovative Oasis Deck concept, a solution which revolutionises the concept of aft cockpit, transforming vertical barriers into an extension of the deck thereby creating space for an integrated pool and an open 270-degree view covering 190 m2 of surface area in direct contact with the water. An aft saloon, a mix of sun and shade, allows passengers to enjoy the deck at any time of day and the social design transforms the deck into a wonderful relaxation area.

The nearly full custom interiors, have been designed by Benetti’s Interior Design Department, under the direction of Mariarosa Remedi. The owner played a crucial role in the layout of the space, expressing a predilection for the Visionnaire brand and asking the shipyard to create a space that was appropriate for the use of the free-standing furniture made by this brand. The result is large spaces, carefully refined through the use of naturally treated leather and custom designs created specifically for this vessel, while prestigious woods such as brushed maple and Macassar ebony cover the surfaces alongside marble-effect ceramics, requested by the client to replace real marble with a more eco-friendly option.

As a broker – notes the Owner Representative from Arcon Yachtswe are proud to have successfully concluded another purchase for our client. Our team worked closely with Benetti, creating a perfect partnership leading to the construction of the M/Y Iryna, built following the highest standards of design and quality.” The M/Y Iryna will be delivered to its owner at the end of the summer, marking a new record for Benetti, who, with the B.Now platform concept, completed the project in less than three years, starting with a first draft sketched onto a piece of paper.
