We saw, at the Porto Antico in Genoa, docked at the Magazzini del Cotone, Dar, the megayacht built by the Dutch shipyard Oceanco, which won the World Superyacht Award in 2019, for the category Best Motoryacht 2019.

Dar is a 90 metre megayacht, delivered to its owner in 2018. The interior, designed by Nuvolari Lenard, can comfortably welcome up to 14 passengers in 7 cabins, including a master suite, in addition to the 31 crew members, who take care of everything during navigation.

The displacement hull is in steel, with a superstructure in aluminium and decks in teak. Dar is equipped with zero speed stabilizers, which work when at anchor, increasing comfort on board when the yacht is stopped, especially when the sea is rough. On board are also a barbecue, lift, spa, pool, heliport, sauna and a large garage for the tender.

In 2019, Dar won the top award in the “World Superyacht Award” as the best motoryacht in 2019. Its flowing exterior is inspired by the shape of a shark, and the design by designer Luiz De Basto was created to guarantee complete privacy and relaxation for the owners and their passengers. The cost? It is estimated to be 170 million euros.
