Long-standing German shipyard, Lürssen has revealed BOARDWALK, a 117-metre superyacht, destined to become one of the most significant projects of 2025. The float-out marks a fundamental step in the construction of this ambitious vessel, which will be delivered in 2026.
Classic design and timeless lines
BOARDWALK stands out for its design approach which is rooted in boating tradition, with classic lines and an “evergreen” design developed by design studio FWD3D by Frank Woll and by interior designer Amy Halffman.
The concept included the direct and constant involvement of the client, an expert owner who personally contributed to each aspect of the design, from the general layout to the flow of the hallways on board, through to the interior and exterior styling.
A floating refuge for the family
Created as a floating family refuge, BOARDWALK has a number of areas dedicated to socialising and entertainment, including a spacious gym, a putting green for golfing and two heliports, one of which is certified and located to the bow on the passenger deck.
These elements underscore the aim of the superyacht in creating a rich and versatile onboard experience, capable of satisfying the needs of the owner and his family for comfort, privacy, and entertainment.
After the float-out, BOARDWALK is currently docked at the Lürssen pier, were final outfitting will be completed. The outfitting process will continue over the next few months until delivery, scheduled for next year.
