Bilgin Yachts took part in the Monaco Yacht Show 2025 with the grand debut of their new megayacht, Camila, the latest in the Bilgin 163 series. With original spaces and exceptional partnerships, Camila is the latest masterpiece by Bilgin, the second 50-metre yacht created by the brand. Daily Nautica went on board to interview Tuğba Şengün Topgül marketing director for the Turkish shipyard.
A new masterpiece
“Camila – explains Tuğba Şengün Topgül to DN – is the latest masterpiece by Bilgin and was created through exceptional partnerships.” The exterior and naval architecture, with its aluminium superstructure and steel hull, is a sporty and elegant silhouette, and was curated by studio, Unique Yacht Design, who focused on combining aesthetics and functionality.
The interiors are the work of Hot Lab Studio, a well-known Italian design studio that, working alongside the owner, harmonised each detail with a modern and refined concept, to create that unmistakeable comfort and style that characterises the brand.
New standards
This megayacht also represents new changes that could lead to new industry standards. “Camila – notes the marketing director for Bilgin Yachts – is a testing ground for new set-up standards, thanks to its spaces which are 20% bigger compared to other yachts of this length.”
The vessel can accommodate up to 12 people thanks to its 5 guest cabins, in addition to the completely private, full beam master cabin. In addition to the main saloon is a second saloon on the upper deck. Camila, with a gross tonnage of 499 GT, also has excellent performance due to its two Caterpillar C32 1450HP engines, allowing her to reach a maximum speed of 16.5 knots, with an impressive autonomy of 5000 nautical miles, and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
