On 8 March the fourth unit of the Mangusta Oceano 44 was launched: this three-deck displacement vessel has redefined the concept of life on board according to Mangusta. The launch ceremony took place on International Women’s Day, highlighting the feminine heart of the yacht: elegant, audacious, and a union of tradition and innovation.
Part of the long-standing Mangusta Oceano range, this model is a floating modern loft that marries the elegant design of the steel hull and aluminium superstructure with large panoramic windows inviting passengers to enjoy the water from new perspectives. Each detail reflects a desire for excellence, the attention and passion that mark Mangusta’s vision, a philosophy that works to give shape to dreams through an unforgettable onboard experience.
The exterior of the Mangusta Oceano 44
The external layout has been designed to best enjoy the water, with a 104m2 sun deck and a beach area that is the heart of onboard socialisation: the open transom amd lateral balconies create a 180° space that can be enjoyed fully. On the forward upper deck is the wheelhouse, with full height windows providing excellent visibility, for unrivalled navigation.
The Interior
In the interior of the Mangusta Oceano 44, functionality blends in with beauty, with a continual alternation of high end materials such as wood and marble, a symbol of contemporary minimalism, and the use of glass surfaces, which create a harmonious dialogue between interior and exterior spaces. The master suite, with a private view of the ocean, is an exclusive refuge, and the cabins also reflect the distinctive tones and materials throughout the entire vessel, providing impeccable stylistic consistency.
Engines
Equipped with zero speed stabilisers and electric underways to guarantee maximum comfort and, at the same time all the excitement of sailing without compromise, this superyacht has a 4500 mile autonomy, a maximum speed of 15.5 knots, and a cruising speed of 11 knots.
The Mangusta Oceano 44 was built in partnership between Overmarine Group, P.L.A.N.A Design and designer, Alberto Mancini. As always the interior and layout can be completely customised and on this unit these were curated by the company design team and Gianluca Sist from Studio H2. The sale of the vessel, to a European client, was through a partnership with Gaston Lees-Buckley from brokerage house, Camper & Nicholsons, who also supervised construction.
