CMC Marine, global leader in yacht stabilisation and control technology, is participating again this year at the METSTRADE, the main international event for boating accessories held in Amsterdam until 21 November. The Italian company (stand 10.416 in the Superyacht Pavilion) is showcasing its advanced solutions in stability and comfort at sea, focused on sustainability and energy efficiency, including their revolutionary stabiliser LR250, the biggest electric stabiliser currently available on the market, designed to guarantee superior comfort on board super and mega yachts, and the electric thruster, TP75EA.
The TP range, part of the Dualis Electra series, is a cutting edge solution in electric manoeuvring thrusters, in response to the demand for ultracompact propulsion that is also silent and powerful, thanks to their use of a new series of contra-rotating propellers. Designed to guarantee a high push/power ratio in a contained size, the TP75EA uses a new generation of high efficiency electric motor, noticeably reducing the weight and volume of the entire system, without compromising on performance.
With their consolidated experience in full-electric stabilisation systems like Stabilis Electra and Waveless STAB, over 2500 systems installed around the world and continued investment in research and development equivalent to 10 million euros, CMC Marine continues to innovate to reduce environmental impact and improve fuel efficiency.
“For CMC Marine – notes Sam Crockford, managing director for CMC Marine UK – it is important to take part in METS, a critical event for measuring ourselves with the international market, and showcasing our innovative products. In particular, the Dutch market for pocket superyachts is undergoing a very positive period with a rise in demand. Within this context, we are proud to share that our systems are installed on 66% of 30 to 40 metre yachts currently under construction in the country. This is an impressive result, especially considering that our first order from the Dutch market dates back to just 2018, with the Moonen shipyard.”
